Returns and Warranty

We are committed to your satisfaction:

Your satisfaction is important to us. We will do the best we can to satisfy your expectations.

Returns Policy:

  • There are some exceptions to this policy listed below under "Exceptions".
  • Merchandise will be accepted for return within 30 days after shipment. It must be unused and in new condition. You must contact us by phone or e-mail for authorization and instructions before returning any item.
  • If the merchandise is damaged or defective you will receive a full refund for the merchandise. If the manufacturer requires the product to be returned, you will pay the return shipping costs.
  • If you believe the merchandise was significantly misrepresented in our catalog or website, and we agree, you will receive a full refund, including return shipping costs.
  • If you simply are not satisfied with your purchase, you will receive a full refund on the merchandise, but not on any shipping costs. The merchandise must be returned at your expense.
  • If your order received Free or Reduced Shipping: the shipping credit will be recalculated for the reduced order total and any additional shipping cost will be deducted from the credit for the return.
  • Returns received more than 30 days after shipment will be charged a 20% restocking fee.
  • Refunds will by credited to the same credit card originally used for the purchase only. Purchases paid by check will be refunded by check.


Exchange Policy:

  • There are some exceptions to this policy listed below under "Exceptions".
  • Merchandise will be accepted for exchange within 30 days of shipment. It must be unused and in new condition. You must contact us by phone or e-mail for authorization and instructions before returning any item.
  • If the merchandise is damaged, defective, or was significantly misrepresented in our catalog or website, we will pay for shipping of the replacement merchandise. You will receive credit for the returned merchandise and your shipping cost for the return. You will be charged or credited for the difference in price between the replacement order and the returned items credits
  • If you are simply not satisfied with your purchase, you can exchange it at full value. You will have to pay both the return shipping cost and the shipping cost of the replacement order. You will be charged or credited for the difference in price between the replacement order cost, including shipping, and the returned items credits.
  • Refunds will by credited to the same credit card originally used for the purchase only.
  • Returns received more than 30 days after shipment will have a 20% restocking fee deducted from the return credit.


Exceptions to the Return and Exchange Policies:

  • All coffee, tea, and food sales are considered final. These items cannot be returned or exchanged.
  • All FINAL SALE items, which includes all specials and closeouts are considered final. These items cannot be returned or exchanged. Credit for shipping damage will be provided when we receive proof of damage.
  • All custom orders are considered final sales. These items cannot be returned or exchanged.


Warranties:

  • Tea Quilt tea cozies are warranted by Design In Mind, Inc. to be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of 90 days from the date of shipment. The warranty is void if the item has been damaged by negligence, accident or mishandling; or has been altered or repaired in any way. In the first 30 days, the Return Policy applies. After 30 days, this warranty is limited to replacement of the defective item with the same or similar item, at our discretion. You, the owner, will be responsible for all shipping costs.
  • All other items are sold without warranty by Design In Mind, Inc. Some items may include a manufacturer's limited warranty. If so, warranty administration will be handled directly by the manufacturer.
  • THERE ARE NO OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, AND THERE IS NO WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
  • No person or company is authorized to assume or imply any other warranty. Design In Mind, Inc. does not assume responsibility or liability for:
    a) consequential damages of any kind which result from the use or misuse of any item,
    b) damage or failure resulting from repair or modification of any item,
    c) damage resulting from the misuse of any item.
