Tea Cozy Care
Decorator prints and tapestries are usually intended to be dry cleaned. Washing them with detergents in a washing machine will quickly cause most of them to shrink and lose their "hand" or crisp appearance, color, and shape.
Tea stains can be removed by soaking the tea cozy overnight in a solution of Oxy-Clean™ and cold water. Then rinse in cold water, press between two towels to remove excess water, reshape and open the tea cozy, and stand it up on a towel to dry.
The Tea Quilt lining is pretreated with a fabric protector to help repel tea stains. You may also treat the cover with a fabric protector if you desire.
